Welcome to THE NET!! The Cheesers are very excited about the inauguration of our brand new Website cornucopiacheese.com I know that is a big yawn for some of you, but in retrospect, this event is light years away from our very humble beginnings in the back corner of a country store 15 1/2 years ago. There were no computers, one shared phone line and a broken-down Chevy Van!!! The fact that WE have come such a long way pales in comparison to the Warp Speed of today's communications and the service industry. An article in the May 15th issue of Financial Times states: "There is now no task that cannot be delegated to someone else," including organizing your children's social life. Because we are so time starved, we no longer have time to plan our own experiences. The article points out changes in the service industry (and I would add the Food Service industry) over the past 50 years. It really is mind-boggling!
It is our goal not to make your life more difficult, but to make it easier. For some, the internet is a valuable tool. We want to make SERVICE an even greater KEYWORD in our relationship with you. As I have often said, we have a symbiotic relationship; one hand washes the other. Maybe the Internet is a better brand of soap!
